LESSON'S BIG IDEA: GOD CONTROLS EVERYTHING
- Job loved God and did what was right.
- Satan, God's enemy, said Job only followed God because God blessed him.
- God let Satan take everything away from Job.
- Job's friends told him God was punishing Job for his sin.
- God came in a whirlwind to talk to Job.
- God asked Job a lot of questions.
- Job learned to trust God.
CHRIST CONNECTION:
Job learned that God is all-powerful, sovereign, and good. When we face suffering, we can hope in God. God sent Jesus, the only truly innocent One, to suffer and die so that everyone who trusts in Him can have forgiveness and eternal life.
