1.  Humbling ourselves under God's mighty hand.

          A. Surrendering status.
          B.  Casting our cares on Him.
          C.  Trusting in His timing.

2.  Bracing for battle.
     Involves...
          A.  Standing against Satan's schemes.
          B.  Fortifying our faith.
          C.  Understanding that our suffering is not unique.

3.  Carrying on in our calling.
     Involves understanding that...
          A.  Our suffering is temporal.
          B.  His glory is eternal.
     And that...
          C.  Our position is unshakeable.
          D.  His reign is unstoppable.
