Schedules, responsibilities, deadlines, caring for the needs of others— our lives, as women, are filled with opportunities. Most days we wouldn’t have it any other way, but life can leave us longing for more of the abundant life that Jesus promised to give us.

Ladies, this retreat is a unique opportunity to hit “pause” on our daily rhythms and gather together to be encouraged, equipped, and strengthened in our faith. We know there’s a lot to coordinate – from carpooling and childcare, to saving up for the cost, and giving up the bulk of your weekend. We encourage you to give your concerns for the weekend to Jesus, embrace all that He has waiting for you, and join us at Life Action Camp for Thrive April 17-19.

Registration & Cost

Please sign up in the Sugar Grove Campus foyer on Sunday mornings.

The cost ranges from $160-$170 per person depending on accommodations.

MEET YOUR SPEAKERS (SPRING 2020)

Donna Avant is the wife of Dr. John Avant, president of Life Action. They have been together for 37 years and have three married children and four grandchildren. Donna has had the privilege of speaking all over the United States and many other countries, including India, England, Wales, Belarus, Central Asia and Lebanon. She is a contributing author to The Woman’s One Year Devotional as well as the author of “No Excuses” a Bible study of I and II Timothy. In her free time, Donna loves to read and walk (not at the same time)! She also loves to play with bubbles and swim with her grandchildren.

Carmeisha Arnold is the wife of Pastor Daryl Arnold and “The Lady” of the Overcoming Believers Church in Knoxville,TN. She shares an empowering message of how to change stumbling blocks into steppingstones while offering hope and healing from life’s disappointments. She is free to share her personal transition from the ‘spirit of heaviness to receiving the garment of praise’. Her prayer is that her life will be an example that anyone can ‘mount up and soar’ to new levels–through Christ Jesus. Her no nonsense style motivates and encourages others to practically apply wisdom to daily living.  Carmeisha has received many awards, certificates and acknowledgements but among her greatest accomplishments are the couple’s four children.
