Passage: Luke 10:25-37

Preacher: Mario Arindaeng

Series:Conversations with Jesus

Detail:

1. ASK great questions (Luke 10:26)

A. Asking great questions does 3 powerful things:

1) It breaks down barriers and opens up hearts (John 4:7)

2) It helps you understand and empathize with others (2 Timothy 2:23-26)

3) It gives you time to pray and ask God for help (Matthew 10:19,20)

B. Learn to ask questions that engage not enrage. (I Peter 3:15)

C. Move from secular to spiritual subjects

2. ADMIRE what you can about what they believe (Luke 10:28)

A. Admiring what you can focuses on commonalities

B. Admiring what you can builds bridges not walls. (Proverbs 15:1)

3.  Help them ADMIT their need for Jesus (Luke 10:29-37)

We can help others admit their need for Christ by:

A. Admitting our own need for Christ (I Timothy 1:13-15)

B. Sharing the Gospel with them (Romans 1:16, I Corinthians 15:3-4)
