Dinner with JAM

Posted by Kate Duff on

Today we drove to Kampala.  There was a lot of traffic in the city. Ugandans call it "the jam."  Well, we were stuck in "the jam" for hours.  Rev.  Ben & Lillian invited us for dinner on Wednesday evening.  After surviving "the jam," we enjoyed a great time of fellowship with Rev. Ben, Lillian, their son Eric, Godfrey Dutki and Mugasha D Michael over dinner.  I apologized to Eric that Max wasn't with us. Rev. Ben mentioned how thankful he was for Despy Bales and Sozo Market and their fundraising efforts for the ministry of Juna Amagara Ministries.  And he applauded Max for working hard mowing lawns, shoveling snow, and doing some dog sitting, so that he may sponsor a child through Juna Amagara.  If Max can do it, you can, too!  Let me know if you would like more information about sponsoring a child.
