Three reasons the Christian life cannot be done without the Third Person of the Trinity

1.  The Holy Spirit has accomplished much throughout redemptive history.

2.  The Holy Spirit actively works in the lives of believers.
       •  The Spirit comforts.
       •  The Spirit teaches.
       •  The Spirit speaks.
       •  The Spirit makes decisions.
       •  The Spirit grieves over sin.
       •  The Spirit overrules human actions.
       •  The Spirit searches the deep things of God and knows the thoughts of God.
       •  The Spirit distributes spiritual gifts.
       •  The Spirit interprets and brings human prayer before the Father.
       •  The Spirit assures believers of their adoption.
       •  The Spirit bears witness to and glorifies Christ.

3.  The Holy Spirit should be sought and worshiped.
       •  Desire the Spirit's work and presence.
       •  Meditate on the Word He inspired.
       •  Believe what you see in His Word.
       •  Follow the Spirit's leading.
