Your Next Step

When Jesus built His church there was no building. Many times Jesus would literally just stand on a mountainside and begin to teach.

As we look at Jesus’ ministry in the three and a half years before He went to the cross, we see that Jesus’ focus was on making disciples. In His final farewell address to His disciples, He gave them the same vision, and we call it The Great Commission. Jesus told those eleven disciples, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:1920a).

Village Bible Church exists to make disciples. But, how do we go about making disciples? Simply put, we believe discipleship happens when disciples are discovered, developed, and deployed.
