Finding the benefits and blessings to prayer involves:

1.  Acknowledging the person of God.
     The first part of this prayer reminds us that:

  •   We live in community
  • We are a part of a family
  • We are under authority

 

2.  Affirming the preeminence of God.
     This means you must:

  • Determine if God is going to be #1
  • Declare that God is #1
  • Demonstrate in all ways that God is #1

 

3.  Accepting the program of God.

     This involves seeing God at work:

  • Personally
  • Corporately
  • Globally
  • Celestially
