Growing Pains

Passage: Acts 6:1-7

As we grow, we may see...

1.  Frustrations spring up.
       A.  We may be ignorant of needs
       B.  We may be indifferent to needs
       C.  We may intentionally discriminate
       D.  We may have an ineffective system to help
       E.  Any of these can threaten to impair our mission

2.  We need to follow certain steps to deal with our frustrations.
       A.  We must check our hearts
       B.  We are to choose to believe the best
       C.  We must comply with the chain of command
       D.  We are to help create solutions
       E.  We are NOT to criticize others
       F.  We are NOT to collude with others
       G.  We are NOT to carry unrealistic expectations

3.  Find good people to serve.
       A.  They are to have a good standing in the church
       B.  They must be Spirit-filled
       C.  They need to be skilled
       D.  They are to be set apart for the task
       E.  This enables the Kingdom of God to spread in
             amazing ways
