    Landmines are subjects or situations in our world today that tend to be explosive in nature.  

    1.  Navigating them successfully requires us to determine
         their location.
           •  They are often disguised politically.
           •  They are often disguised philosophically.
           •  They are often perpetuated personally (societally).

    2.  These are destructive.
           •  They cause confusion in us.
           •  They cause conflict in others.
           •  They cause culture wars.

    3.  They require us to defend against them.
           •  We need to get out glasses on.
           •  We need to guard against garbage.
           •  We need to grow in our knowledge of God.
