BIG IDEA: Church Discipline is God’s design for healthy restoration. 
1.  God has a purpose for church discipline.
       •  Purify the Christian (Eph. 5:27)
       •  Protect the Church (2 Cor. 2:5)

2.  God gives a process for church discipline.
       •  Rebuke (Matt. 18:15)
       •  Repeat (Matt. 18:16)• Report (Matt. 18:17)
       •  Remove (Matt. 18:17)
       •  (Repent) (Matt. 18:15; 2 Cor. 2:10)
       •  Restore (Gal. 6:1)   
             >  Let it go (forgive) (2 Cor. 2:7).
             >  Lend a hand (comfort) (2 Cor. 2:7).
             >  Let them back in (reaffirm) (2 Cor. 2:8).

3.  God reveals the problems with neglecting church discipline.
       •  We aren’t obedient (2 Cor. 2:9).
             For this is why I wrote, that I might test you and know whether
             you are obedient in everything.
