Whom Shall We Love?

According to the Bible, these are the beings/groups that God specifically commands us to love.

In the Old Testament, there are only three:

   1.  Love God (Deuteronomy 6:4-5).

   2.  Love your neighbors (Leviticus 19:18).

   3.  Love the strangers and sojourners in your midst (Deuteronomy 10:19).

Existentially speaking, all of us are immigrants, having been saved by an Immigrant Savior.

   The new immigrants are not de-Christianizing American society,
   but they are de-Europeanizing American Christianity.
