Are you a Difference Maker for Jesus Christ? We are sharing stories of so many people from Village Bible Church that are serving Jesus and who are making a difference for the Kingdom.
One person wrote that they have had the wonderful opportunity to get to know Abraham Dallal. This past year they would meet up over food and discuss their life concerns. After sharing daily events, the two would pray over each other. They wrote that it was "a great time to look forward to". Abraham shows a Christ-like attitude meeting spiritual and physical needs for others!
Ben serves at the Plano campus as a shepherding elder and as a leader of the worship team. Members of the worship team nominated him as a great leader who has a love for Jesus and for music. Ben received numerous nominations as a difference-maker, each celebrating the impact God has made through him!
Ella McGuire co-leads the K-1 Sunday school class alongside Stacey Jarret. Stacey says that while she was new to the Sugar Grove campus, Ella has "showed her the ropes"! Ella has been an amazing reflection of God's love and the church body!
Gorette is a great role model to all ages. She serves as an awesome teacher to the children at the Aurora campus. Despite being enrolled in college, Gorette finds the time to volunteer in the children's ministry and teach Sunday School. It's not easy balancing a busy lifestyle, but God loves to see us set aside time for Him!
Bill works as an elder and teacher at the Indian Creek campus. He occasionally leads Sunday morning messages, leads his own theology class and assists the Indian Creek pastor Jeremy Anderson. Spending many years as a high school teacher, Bill applies his abilities for church attendees. Our many campus leaders have been such a blessing to Village. Thank you to our church leaders and staff!
Connie has left a lasting impression on her small group members! Connie is noted for her ability to serve others and show her love. She is known for being caring, gracious, and kind. Thanks, Connie for loving those around you in such genuine ways!
Micah serves at the Sugar Grove campus. He is currently an intern who helps run the teen youth ministry. Here he encourages our teens to learn more about God, teaches lessons, and organizes events. His friendly attitude has helped us reach out to teens, including those who don't know Christ! A special thanks goes out to our Sugar Grove youth ministry interns, Micah Hett and Avery Tindall!
Jim serves within the children's ministry teaching kids about Jesus Christ. His patience and loving heart has helped children get closer to Jesus during Sunday School!
Javier strengthens others through prayer and an open Bible. He listens and empathizes with others, which comes directly from God.
Patti and Scott (daughter pictured on the far left) demonstrate God's love by reaching out and welcoming others to their small group. Working as partners, they strengthen bonds with other Christians in their walk with Christ. Creating a loving and friendly space is a great way to point brothers and sisters to God!
Brody and Mary Jandris both lead a student ministry small group at the Sugar Grove campus and an adult group as well. They do a great job keeping in touch with group members and praying over them. Thank you Brody and Mary for keeping your home and hearts open for the church family!
"Your love and warmth towards all people caught my attention a lot." Roxana always welcomes visitors to our El Camino campus with open arms. Her kindness and love for Jesus have been a very important part of our church.
