Tengo la bendición de estar casado con Stacie y tener cuatro hijos, Joshua, David, Gracia y CJ.
Nací y crecí en Tacna, Perú. Cuando tenía 10 años, acepté a Cristo en mi vida y dos años después fuí bautizado. Mi relación con Dios continuó fortaleciéndose. Cuando tenía 14 años, nos mudamos cerca al área de Chicago. Tuve que aprender inglés y adaptarme a una cultura diferente y una nueva familia. Hubo muchos cambios para mí, pero a pesar de todo, mi relación con el Señor siguió creciendo. Durante la escuela secundaria, mi interés en servir al Señor en el ministerio creció y decidí asistir al Instituto Bíblico Moody para prepararme para servir al Señor como misionero o pastor de tiempo completo. Luego tuve la bendición de conocer a mi esposa, Stacie. Tener su ayuda y apoyo en el ministerio ha sido una gran bendición en mi vida.
Después de servir en el área de Chicago con la comunidad hispana por algún tiempo, en el 2010, dimos un paso de fe y nos mudamos a Ayacucho, Perú. Dios fue fiel durante todo el tiempo de nuestra estadía en ese hermoso pueblo, y nos proveyó de todas nuestras necesidades básicas, y al mismo tiempo, conocimos a muchas personas hermosas que fueron como familia para nosotros. Con el paso del tiempo, el ministerio allí creció y se fortaleció para la gloria de Dios.
Entonces Dios nos llamó de regreso a los Estados Unidos. El plan original era que reuniéramos apoyo para regresar al Perú a continuar con el ministerio de plantar iglesias en esos lugares, pero Dios tenía otros planes y nos llamó al campus español de Village Bible Church en Aurora, Illinois, donde comencé a servir. como pastor. ¡Y ahora Dios está ampliando nuestro servicio para lanzar un ministerio en español en nuestro campus de Plano!
I am blessed to be married to Stacie and have four children, Joshua, David, Gracia, and CJ.
I was born and raised in Tacna, Peru. When I was 10 years old, I accepted Christ into my life and two years later I was baptized. My relationship with God continued to strengthen. When I was 14, we moved close to the Chicago area. I had to learn English and adapt to a different culture and a new family. There were many changes for me, but through it all, my relationship with the Lord continued to grow. During high school, my interest in serving the Lord in ministry grew and I decided to attend Moody Bible Institute to prepare to serve the Lord as a full-time missionary or pastor. Then I was blessed to meet my wife, Stacie. Having your help and support in the ministry has been a great blessing in my life.
After serving the Chicago area with the Hispanic community for some time, in 2010, we took a step of faith and moved to Ayacucho, Peru. God was faithful throughout our stay in that beautiful town and provided us with all our basic needs, and at the same time, we met many beautiful people who were like family to us. As time went by, the ministry there grew and strengthened to the glory of God.
Then God called us back to the United States. The original plan was for us to gather support to return to Peru to continue the ministry of planting churches in those places, but God had other plans and called us to the Spanish campus of Village Bible Church in Aurora, Illinois, where I began serving. as a pastor. And now God is expanding our service to launch a Spanish-language ministry on our Plano campus!
