We're providing this resource free of charge to help our church family reconnect with God this Christmas. Place it at the kitchen table to read and reflect with your family at mealtime. Discuss the questions with your small group. Or take time alone to WONDER at the beauty of God's perfect gift: Jesus.

Twenty-one devotions take a deeper look at the days of Advent through the eyes of worship. Each week leading up to the birth of Christ focuses on a different theme in scripture for meditation.

Week 1 | A Time for Renewal
”Awake, my soul! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.” -— Psalm 57:8 (NIV)

Week 2 | A Time for Trials
“From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” — Psalm 61:1-2 (NIV)

Week 3 | A Time for Revelation
”For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.” — Psalm 36:9 (NIV)

Week 4 | A Time for Wonder
”Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.” — Psalm 96:2-3 (NIV)

This Advent devotional features five readings per week over four weeks and a special devotional for Christmas Day, offering consistency and flexibility that can accommodate the twists and turns of this beautiful, sometimes busy season together.

Each devotion has a few questions for reflection that make group discussion and individual meditation a rich, thoughtful experience.

We pray this is a blessing to you and your family this December!
