Here’s Life Inner City is a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ whose goal is to give at risk children a solid foundation from which they can build a successful future. Through the local church, children are ministered to spiritually, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and socially (Luke 10:27).
This holistic ministry, focuses on the Roseland community but also resources other ministries and churches throughout Chicago.
Every November volunteers gather at the Agape Center to participate in the “Boxes of Love” Packing Party and Outreach. These outreach boxes will provide a Thanksgiving meal to over 1,400 families in Chicago who would not otherwise have one. Each box will contain a turkey with all the fixings as well as evangelistic materials, enough to physically and spiritually feed a family of six. What begins as a simple day of packing food boxes becomes a great movement of Jesus’ love all over Chicago!

“Packing Party” begins at 8 am to 4 pm on November 20th and the outreach begins at 11:00 am with a light lunch and evangelism training. Then you will assist an urban church or ministry in delivering their Boxes of Love. This event is for those 16 years of age and older.
There is room for 15 volunteers and we’ll leave the SG Campus at 8:00am and return around 4:00pm.
