Each year we have been amazed by the way our church pulls together to raise money for our mission trips and serve our community! We have seen the Lord allow the profits from this sale to increase each year. In previous years, we've raised over $20,000 in two days! Don't miss out on being a part of it by donating to the sale, volunteering to help, or attending the sale.
Four Ways to Help

2. Volunteer
We always need LOTS of volunteers. This ALL-CAMPUS event is a fun way to serve together and a wonderful opportunity to meet others in the Village family. What started as a mission trips fundraiser back in 2010 has grown into a HUGE annual event that our community looks forward to each year.
Did you know that last year we had over 4,000 people walk through our church doors? Let's plan to organize an amazing garage sale and show our visitors the love of Christ as they enter our building for some great deals for their families.
But it takes a Village!
VOLUNTEER Week Of Sale May 18-24
| Sun, May 18 | 12pm-8pm | Prep: Unload trucks, set up tables, sort donations, and hang clothes. |
| Mon-Thurs, May 19 - 22 | 9am-8pm | Prep: Sort donations, organize tables, hang clothes, and clean up. Come and go as you wish. |
| Fri, May 23 | 7am-12pm | Parking Team |
| Fri, May 23 | 8am-8pm | Sale: Greeter, shopper assistance, hold table, organize tables, cashier, carry out. 4-hour shifts. |
| Sat, May 24 | 8am-9pm | Sale: Greeter, shopper assistance, hold table, organize tables, cashier, carry out. 4-hour shifts. |
| Sat, May 24 | 6pm-9pm | Tear down and clean up |
3. Donate Items
Clothing Donations: NOW
We are accepting clothing donations (and only clothing) at each campus. Bring early clothing donations to your VBC campus so volunteers can start hanging clothes in preparation for the sale.
All Donations - May 18-21
General donations occur from May 18-21 at our Sugar Grove campus. Clothing, baby items, toys, shoes, purses, home décor, crafts, bikes, sporting goods, dishes, kitchen items, tools, books, DVDs, CDs…
Items we will not accept: furniture, electronics, paint, tube or plasma TVs, smelly or broken items, car seats older than 5 years
All items donated to the sale that are not sold are passed on to other great organizations for the giving to get passed on.
4. Get the Word Out
- Yard Sign: Help us spread the word by putting up a Missions Garage Sale Sign in your yard! Grab one in the foyer of your campus NOW.
- Postcards: Pass out Missions Garage Sale postcards to your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and everyone who loves a great garage sale!

- Indicate that you're GOING
- INVITE your FB friends
- SHARE it to your page
