Every fall, men from across all VBC campuses converge at Silver Birch Ranch in the Northwoods of Wisconsin for our annual men's retreat. This is a weekend of fun, food, and friendship rooted in teaching from God's Word.
This is a great weekend to be refreshed from the grind of everyday life. Whether you're looking for fast-paced action or time to slow life down and reflect on God, Silver Birch Ranch is the place to do so.
Activities: Manstyle campfires, Shotgun Trap Shooting, Pistol Range, Climbing Wall, Zip Line, Horseback Riding, Airsoft, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Mini Golf, Pickleball, Horseshoes, Archery, Pontoon Rides and more.
Ages 13+
September 27-29 with an early start option on September 26.
Yes, you will be back home in time to make it to the VBC Barn Bash!
Carpools will be organized.

Retreat Speaker - Jeremy Anderson
Pastor Jeremy leads our Indian Creek campus and will be the speaker at our men's retreat. He is passionate about Jesus, his family, church, and basketball! Jeremy has been part of the pastoral team at Village Bible Church since 2013. He is married to Bri and has a newborn little girl, Eloise, and two preschool boys, Henry and Peter. He looks forward to when his boys are old enough to join him at the annual SBR Men’s Retreat!
Worship Leader - Ben Sperry
Ben is the worship leader at our Plano campus and serves as a teacher at Plano High School.
Activity Tips
- Trap Shooting- Use camp guns and purchase both ammo and clay pigeons at $5 for 10 shots or bring your own gun and ammo and purchase clay pigeons at $1 for 10 shots.
- Pistol Range - Feel free to bring your own pistols, but no high-caliber rifles or pistols. Targets are provided. All pistols must be locked up in your car. No concealed weapons are allowed on Silver Birch Ranch property.
- Airsoft - Enjoy a beautiful wooded course with quality guns and safety equipment. The cost is $5 for the gun, one full magazine, and a mask. Games will be on a sign-up basis. Please do not bring your own airsoft guns or pellets.
