What is Plano Rockin’ Christmas?
It’s an opportunity to give back to our community, especially those that might not have as much.
Started years ago as a canned food drive, sorting, distribution, and a short parade has grown into a celebration for the entire City of Plano. Collection boxes can be found at numerous local business locations. Funds collected purchase gift cards to feed 250+ families. Host to a 40+ vehicle parade that hits most subdivisions in the city. Citywide window decorating contest for our businesses. Music played from our Plano school students, tree & street lighting ceremony.
Ross Greiter Award (person who shows the most “Christmas Spirit” throughout the year).
We will continue to grow and add what we can, but we always keep in mind the true purpose of Plano’s Rockin’ Christmas; to assist in feeding our community members.
