Learn to play the ukulele! No experience necessary.

This is the first meeting of the Village Strummers Ukulele Group! No experience is necessary, but it is helpful if you can read music. Instruction and music will be provided. Music lovers of ages 4th grade and older are welcome. At our first meeting, you will learn to tune your ukulele, learn 3 to 4 chords, and learn to play a few songs by the end of the hour! At our first meeting, we will also set dates for additional meetings.
You will need a soprano or concert-sized ukulele. Kala is a good and reasonably priced brand for beginners and is available at Guitar Center or on Amazon. There will be a couple extra ukuleles available at our first meeting if you'd like to give it a try without a financial commitment.
