For years, Village families have generously filled shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, sending fun and useful gifts along with the Gospel to children around the globe. While these acts of kindness are powerful, we don't often get to hear the incredible stories behind them. Come discover the profound impact of a single shoebox, as Manar Almasry shares his personal story from childhood. All are welcome, whether you come alone or with your family.
After finishing their homework, Manar and his brother liked to watch cartoons. Their favorite part was the commercials advertising toys and school supplies that weren’t common where they lived in the Middle East. Items like that seemed out of reach until the brothers each received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift when Manar was 13. Hear what quality items have stood the test of time and how much they continue to mean to the family.
