ILLUMINATION STATION: Shining a light on who Jesus really is! John 8:12

June 15-19, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Culture claims to know about Jesus, but many people are in the dark about who He really is. Some might see Jesus as just a person from history or a good man or a good teacher—but He is more than that! This summer, VBS will shine a light on the truth of who Jesus really is. Meet us at Illumination Station for the brightest week of the year!

All ages will start their day at a Worship Rally at ILLUMINATION STATION WORSHIP RALLY! Kids will then break out to age-appropriate lessons at Spotlight Bible Study, learn great songs at Mirror Ball Music, create fun crafts at Kaleidoscope Crafts, enjoy a treat at Neon Snacks, play games at Suncatcher Recreation, and learn about missions at Glow-in-the-Dark Missions. Incoming 6th grade students will have a slightly altered schedule as this is "step-up" week to youth group with one of our youth pastors.

Kids will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals while discovering that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world! Like the disciples, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus’ question, “Who do you say that I am?” They will discover it’s not a matter of opinion. Jesus is who Scripture says He is—the perfect, proven, and powerful Son of God.

“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life’” (John 8:12).
