1.  Rejecting God's Word leads to doing:
     Whatever is right in our own eyes
        ●  In the time of the judges
        ●  It is true in our day

2.  Rejecting God's Word led to:
     Worthless sons who did not know the LORD
        ●  Did not honor His sacrifice
        ●  Dishonored His temple sexually
        ●  Did not listen to sound instruction

3.  Rejecting God's Word led to a:
     Weak father who honored his sons above the LORD
        ●  Training failure
        ●  Turned a blind eye
        ●  Too concerned about their rejection of him
        ●  Took too long to respond to their sin
        ●  Turns his back on the prophet's warning

4.  Rejecting God's Word led to a: 
     Word from the LORD to those who despise Him
        ●  Your descendants will die
        ●  You will suffer great distress
        ●  His promise will come from a different direction
