Missionaries
Andrew is a third generation Alaskan who was born and raised in Palmer, Alaska. He decided to pursue his great love for people and seeing them grow through encountering the Word of God. This led him to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible/Theology and Pastoral Ministries from Multnomah University in Portland Oregon. He has truly found his calling in sharing the hope that he has found in Jesus with his fellow Alaskans.
Megan grew up at the Sugar Grove Campus of Village. She has always loved discipling young women and helping them find their potential in Christ. She earned a BA in Family Ministries/Counseling from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Andrew & Megan both began at Tanalian Leadership Center as Resident Mentors and have loved spending time getting to know the students who are a part of the program. As of 2015 they both have new roles at TLC.
The Rowlands got married in July of 2015 and are excited to continue building relationships with students and continue deepening relationships with alumni. Andrew is Biblical Studies Coordinator and Megan is the Alumni Relations Coordinator. When they're not spending time with the students you can find them trundling through the woods or playing board games with friends.
