Cisco grew up on the east side of Aurora, the oldest in a family with two brothers and a sister. He came to faith in Christ at a young age through some Christian neighbors and teachers at Covenant Christian School. In high school, he moved to the west side and attended Aurora Christian High School.
Cisco and his wife Anna met at Moody Theological Seminary. They have three children: Gabriella, Louis, and Eliana. Cisco & Anna spent 15 years in Oak Park where they planted a church. In 2019, they moved back to Aurora and Cisco joined our teaching team. In 2020, Cisco was sent out as the campus pastor at our new campus in Naperville.
Cisco has degrees from Western Illinois University, Moody Theological Seminary, and Talbot School of Theology.
Fun facts: Cisco has appeared many times as a news reporter in the TV series Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. He is also an adjunct professor at Moody Bible Institute. And he's heard weekday mornings from 5-10 as the morning news anchor on WBBM Newsradio 780AM/105.9FM.
