BIG IDEA: "Preach Christ plainly and leave the results to God."

Paul gives the church five instructions for evangelistic ministry:
1. Recognize this ministry is a result of God’s mercy—so don’t give up (v. 1).
2. Reject underhanded methods—refuse to water down the Word (v. 2).
3. Remember the real reason for unbelief—Satan (and sin) (vv. 3–4).
4. Refocus our message—it’s all about Christ, not ourselves (v. 5).
5. Rely on God—He illuminates hearts (v. 6).
