    1.  People who are told to wait.
           •  Simeon uniquely hears from God.
           •  We uniquely hear from God in prayer.

    2.  People who wait without knowing.
           •  Anna waits with no clear hope that she will see the Savior.

    3.  The only hope for waiting people is Jesus.
           •  The hope of Jesus gets us through difficult times.
           •  The hope of seeing Jesus someday is worth waiting for.
