1.  Ancient Israel couldn't draw near to God.
       •  God's presence made Israel tremble.
       •  God's presence made Israel's leader tremble.

2.  Every Christian can draw near to God.
       •  God's presence makes angels festive.
       •  God's presence should make all Christians festive too.
       •  God's presence is partial now, but will be complete in eternity.

3.  Draw near to God instead of to the world.
       •  The earth will pass away, but God's presence is forever.
