Which Will You Choose?

Passage: Philemon 1:4-16

Summary:

This message from Pastor Tim explores the challenging yet crucial topic of forgiveness. We are presented with two choices - to hold onto bitterness and seek revenge, or to embrace reconciliation and love as Christ calls us to. The story of Philemon and Onesimus powerfully illustrates how we must act out of a heart of love, acknowledging that people can change, especially when God transforms their lives. Though forgiveness is never easy, especially for deep wounds, we are reminded that God is sovereign and can use even the most painful circumstances for good, as exemplified in the life of Joseph. Ultimately, we are called to trust God's plan and extend the same grace and mercy that we have received in Christ.
