A New Day

Passage: Acts 2:37-41

Big Idea:  Acts is the story of the church, which continues today.

1.  The church attempts to fix a problem.

2.  The problem with fixing the problem is that the
     church is made up of people.
       •  3,000 people joined the church that day. Who
           were these people?
       •  They were fakers, fearful, forgiven, forgivers,
           fighters, fortunate, faithful

3.  The only hope that we have is the Person of Jesus
     Christ.

4.  This is a promise of God that must be received.
