    Abraham's Surrender

    Passage: Genesis 22:1-24

    1.  The account of the sacrifice of Isaac is a story to study.

    2.  The story gives us some principles to ponder.
         Principle #1:  Everyone will have a test of faith in their
         life.
            •  God asks us to give up sin.
            •  God asks us to give up self (ego).
        
         Principle #2: In your testing, you can listen to the world 
         or you can listen to God.

         Principle #3: God will provide all that you need.

    3.  In the end, this story illustrates the Gospel we glory in.

    The question is,  
    Do you believe that God can and will take care of you?
