Corinth

Passage: Acts 18:1-17

Preacher: Steve Lombardo

Series:Unstoppable

Detail:

During their second missionary journey, Paul and his companions have been beaten and thrown in jail in Philippi (Acts 16), chased out of town in Thessalonica and Berea (Acts 17), and mocked and ridiculed in Athens (Acts 17). It's no wonder then that Paul is discouraged upon his arrival in Corinth. (See his self-description in 1 Corinthians 2:3.)

God Brings Encouragement! The next 18 months for Paul are filled with the usual challenges and controversies, but this time is also filled with great encouragement for Paul and his companions!
