Pathology of Sin

Passage: Jonah 1:3-17

Jonah’s sin leads him into the storm of God’s correction, and we are reminded of some spiritual realities:

1. Choose to sin, you choose to suffer (v. 3).

2. Sin causes the soul to slumber (vv. 4–6).

3. God sends the storm to shake us out of our slumber (vv. 7–10).

4. We will either seek salvation or be lost in the sea of sin (vv. 11–17).
