    Racial Reconciliation and the Gospel

    1.  The Gospel changes our thinking (conversion).
           ●  People are more comfortable with those who are
               like them.  People are drawn to homogeneous units.
           ●      Acts 11:3--"ate with...THEM"
           ●  Two different kinds of racism: active and passive

    2.  The Gospel constantly challenges our comfort zones
         (sanctification).
          ●   Acts 11:4ff--Peter recounts what has happened
                and stands up for the truth, but later he reverts
                back to the old ways of thinking (Galatians 2:11-14).
