You're It!

Passage: Amos 2:4-16

The nations around Israel were guilty before God, but this did not mean that Israel was free from sin. The message of Amos was primarily directed at the rebellion of the nation of Israel, for abandoning God and turning away from Him. This rebellion was demonstrated in two ways:

1.  How they treated the Lord | 4, 12
     (After the Lord had shown them great favor | 9-11)
        •  Israel sinned against God both actively and passively

2.  How they treated others | 6-8
