1.  All people are dead in sin (2:1-3).
     Characteristics of the dead
        A.  The dead are disobedient
                ●  Following the world
                ●  Following the devil
        B.  The dead are depraved.

        C.  The dead are doomed -- "children of wrath"

2.  Christians are alive in Christ (2:4-6).
