Finding success in the adventure of parenting involves three steps:

1.  Don't overestimate the part you play.

     Never forget:

  • God planned it.
  • God provided it.
  • God protects it.

2.  Don't overdo it at your job.

     Leaving our labors to God protects us from:

  • Unhealthy ambition.
  • Unproductive anxiety.

     When we leave it to God He gives an:

  • Unbelievable dose of Ambien.

3.  Don't overlook your family.

     Children are to be:

  • Straightened.
  • Sharpened.
  • Set in the right direction.
  • Shot off.
