This deception comes as a result of: > superficial Christianity > secret ambitions > sporadic and shallow fellowship Question #2: What is the evidence that determines one's standing? John gives evidence for both groups: > Practicing rebellion show one's allegiance to Satan. > Practicing righteousness shows our allegiance to the Savior. Our action plan: Get real about your faith! Remain faithful to Christ...no matter how hard it is! Remember the fight is already won!

John speaks of the divide that splits people up into two groups:

   >  The children of the Devil
