In the evening we had a special dinner at the ABIDE house. ABIDE staff who are in the area over their mid-term break, as well as other JAM staff who were around attended so that I could meet them. Unfortunately, several staff members were out of town because they were attending a funeral in another part of the country. Even so, it was good to meet many of the people who are working hard within the ministry to impact the lives of so many children and young adults.  Throughout the evening I enjoyed the opportunity to snuggle with baby Jonathan (Michael and Joseline's three and a half month old).  After dinner, it was back to Lisa's house to get ready for our trip to Kampala the next morning.  My two days in Mbarara sure went by quickly!
