Gotta Be Perfect

Passage: Hebrews 7:11-28

How can we become perfect enough to be with God?

1.  To be with God, we need a better priest than the imperfect Levites (11-19).
       •  They couldn't make us perfect.
       •  They needed a replacement.
       •  A priest like Melchizedek could serve forever.
       •  A priest like Melchizedek could bring us near to God.

2.  To be with God, we need God to approve a perfect Priest (20-27).
       •  God establised Him with an oath.
       •  God listens to His prayers forever.
       •  God forgives because of His sacrifice.

3.  To be with God, we need Jesus to make us perfect (28).
