1.  Continue to mature (1-3).
       •  Maturity happens beyond the basics.

2.  Combat falling away (4-8).
       •  Count your heavenly blessings.
       •  Don't belittle Christ's crucifixion.
       •  Bear a fruitful crop.

3.  Count on God to preserve you (9-12).
       •  Fellow Christians sense genuine salvation.
       •  God sees genuine growth.
       •  You should show genuine hope.
