Living and Loving in the Church

Passage: 1 Thessalonians 5:12-15

Is this Biblical? Are we encouraged and even commanded to live, love, and serve alongside other believers in our church who are different from us?

As fellow disciples in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ we are called to…

1.  Respect each position (vv. 12–13a).

2.  Run to peace in each situation (v. 13b).

3.  Reach out and help each person in need (vv. 14, 15).
     Let's look at Galatians 3:28. God does not show partiality and neither should we!
     There is no...
        •  "Jew or Greek" — no bias for ethnicity or nationality
        •  "Slave or free — no bias for socioeconomic status
        •  "Male or female — no bias for gender
