I grew up in a Christian family on the West side of Aurora. I accepted Jesus in my heart when I was 12 years old. My family has always had a huge heart for local and global missions. The first time I saw the world for myself was when I had the opportunity to complete my junior year of high school in Colombia. During my year in South America, I learned how to interact with and serve others from a different culture. God also blessed me with the opportunity to learn Spanish as I lived with my husband, Andolf, for two years in the Dominican Republic.
Andolf and I have a daughter, Analise, and we attend the Aurora campus of Village Bible Church.
I am currently studying Organizational Leadership in Management at Benedictine University and enjoy the multiculturalism of the school. I have volunteered in the church ever since I can remember. My hobbies include traveling and spending time with friends and family.
