Finding the benefits and blessings to prayer involves:

1.  Acknowledging the person of God.
     The first part of this prayer reminds us that:
       •  We live in community.
       •  We are part of a family.
       •  We are under authority. 

2.  Affirming the preeminence of God.
     This means you must:
       •  Determine if God is going to be #1.
       •  Declare that God is #1.
       •  Demonstrate in all ways that God is #1. 

3.  Accepting the program of God.
     This involves seeing God at work:
       •  Personally.
       •  Corporately.
       •  Globally.
       •  Celestially.
