As Christians we have come to understand:

1.  The gospel mesage that brings salvation.

     This message:

          •  Involves a plan
          •  Is personal in nature
          •  Is all about a person
          •  Is absolutely positive
 

2.  The great mystery that surrounded its coming.

     This mystery:

          •  Was prophesied by the prophets
          •  Was preached by the apostles
          •  Is being pondered by the angels


3.  A godly model to strive for.

     This model involves:

          •  Studying the scriptures
          •  Serving others selflessly
          •  Sharing the good news
          •  Standing in awe of God's plan
          •  Suffering well in light of the glory to come
